About the role

  • Develop and execute the enterprise security strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identify risks, emerging threats, and industry trends to inform long-range security planning.
  • Establish metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to measure and report on security posture and program maturity.
  • Champion a security-by-design mindset across the enterprise.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary security team while partnering with other security areas.
  • Drive operational excellence through structured processes, documentation, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee security program roadmaps, annual planning, staffing needs, and budget management.
  • Create enterprise detection and response capabilities by overseeing proper onboarding and configuration of security agents and tooling.
  • Execute enterprise vulnerability management programs, ensuring timely remediation of weaknesses.
  • Manage enterprise security tooling and technologies, ensuring the stack is integrated, optimized, and delivering measurable value.
  • Own and evolve security policies, standards, and guidelines to meet internal and external requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in security, preferably in a high-security environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate security risks and strategies to executives and non technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, Zero Trust).
  • Proven experience in managing multiple security initiatives simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in security management, business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience working in a SaaS, cloud-native, or regulated environment operating on a global scale.
  • Experience in the legal space and with a high understanding of e-discovery and litigation.
  • Certifications a plus, such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CCSP, or similar.
