About the role
- Technical leader shaping cloud-native structured storage for RelativityOne
- Drive technical vision, design, and implementation of scalable, resilient, high-performance data storage services
- Work with technologies like CosmosDB, Azure Parquet, ADLS, CockroachDB, TiDB, Snowflake
- Join Infrastructure Services group, Structured Storage team delivering storage building blocks
- Lead architecture, mentoring, cross-functional alignment, and platform roadmap
- Promote design patterns, governance, and evaluate emerging storage technologies
- Advise senior engineering and product leadership on technical decisions
Requirements
- 7 + years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend, distributed systems, or data platform development
- 4 + years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native storage solutions in Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Proven experience with at least one modern , large-scale data technology (e.g., CosmosDB , Snowflake, ADLS, Parquet, or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of data modeling, consistency models, partitioning, and query optimization in distributed systems
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience designing production-grade APIs and integrating data services into enterprise applications
- Experience with multiple structured storage paradigms (preferred)
- Familiarity with IaC, Kubernetes, serverless data architecture (preferred)
- Track record of leading platform-level architecture and strategy decisions at scale (preferred)
- Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments (preferred)
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
