About the role
- Manage overall client relationship
- Provide strategic advice on coverage and risk management
- Serve as main point of contact for clients
- Partner in strategic development of insurance plans
- Act as field underwriter and assess coverage
- Manage remarketing of renewals for high retention rates
- Prepare client proposals and documentation
- Assist clients in claims submission and inquiries
- Conduct thorough policy reviews during renewals and audits
- Communicate billing and invoicing options
Requirements
- Property and Casualty License from state of domicile required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; four-year degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years account management experience in the insurance industry
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus or must in some locations
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
- In-depth understanding of advanced commercial lines of coverage
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word)
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, and underwriting procedures
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites
