About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install new equipment and provide routine maintenance/service to customers
Apply highly developed troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical skills
Determine work procedures using diagrams, schematic drawings, engineering specifications and service manuals
Engage with customers on site to analyze equipment performance, troubleshoot problems
Share information with team members, customers, and supervisor for corrective actions
Inform customers of routine preventive maintenance techniques
Participate in new projects for equipment safety and performance improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two plus years of maintenance experience -- servicing, troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical machinery.
Practical application of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and techniques to ensure equipment performance at manufacturers specifications.
Basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic power systems, conveyor systems, or control systems.
Initiative, critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgement and decision making, persistence, attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, concern for others and leadership.
80% travel during the week – mostly on the West Coast, by automobile, or plane.
Food Processing Machinery experience is desired.
Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus.
