About the role

  • Design and build an application with modern technologies, intuitive user-interfaces and scalable data processing architectures using HTML5 and open-source software
  • Manage, optimize, and improve the product
  • Rapidly prototype new methods for processing and exploiting data
  • Support the infrastructure platform team in high performance computing environment
  • Research and communicate state-of-art methods from industry, academia, and government
  • Integrate software development with geospatial intelligence to enhance situational awareness for soldiers and analysts

Requirements

  • Python
  • Java
  • HTML5 and application frameworks (React, Django)
  • Cloud Services (AWS, OpenStack, GCP, Azure, IBM, Rackspace)
  • Containerization (Docker, Linux containers)
  • CI/CD Pipeline
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Active Top Secret clearance with an ability to obtain SCI access and willingness to obtain CI Polygraph
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • JavaScript (preferred)
  • Application deployment: Ansible (preferred)
  • OGC Web Services: WMS, WMTS, WCS, WFS (preferred)
  • Frameworks: AI/ML (preferred)
  • Data: PySpark, Elasticsearch, Kibana (preferred)
  • Other: Apache NiFi, Apache Accumulo, High performance computing cluster (preferred)
  • Certifications: Sec+ (preferred)
