About the role
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with drone manufacturers and system integrators.
- Drive adoption of communication modules, GPS‑denied navigation systems, video links, and embedded autonomy software.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, technical evaluation, negotiation, and closing.
- Support negotiation of hardware procurement, software licensing, and integration service agreements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to support integrations and pilot programs.
- Maintain accurate revenue forecasts and pipeline reporting.
- Provide market intelligence and support ongoing channel and partner strategy development.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, robotics, autonomy, RF systems, or related technical industries.
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- Exposure to selling into OEMs, system integrators, or defense contractors.
- Understanding of hardware and embedded software environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and executive‑level presentation skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering and technical teams.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience in UAVs, autonomy systems, ISR, EW, or communication platforms (preferred).
- Familiarity with the U.S. defense procurement ecosystem (preferred).
- Experience structuring licensing agreements or recurring‑revenue models (preferred).
- Prior military or defense operational experience (preferred).
