About the role

  • Manages all aspects of middle market private equity fund investments for the PD&E group
  • Oversight of LP fund commitments
  • Provides support for co-investments and GP-led secondaries
  • Manages relationships with existing and potential Partner Managers
  • Drives portfolio diversification and optimizes risk-adjusted returns through disciplined LP investment strategies
  • Collaborates with the PD&E direct investment team to source debt and equity opportunities
  • Builds and maintains a pipeline of institutional-quality fund managers
  • Leads due diligence processes for potential investments
  • Conducts market research to analyze investment data
  • Monitors investment performance and tiers managers
  • Tracks portfolio returns and risk metrics
  • Assesses compliance with investment objectives
  • Negotiates fund documents and side letters
  • Represents RGA at annual and advisory board meetings
  • Presents investment recommendations to the Investment Committee

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in private equity-related industry
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and task prioritization
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
