About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for design, analysis, testing, installation, and support activities for Epic related information system solutions
- Completes assigned Epic certifications, training, projects, and testing
- Works closely with other EHR Certified Analysts for assigned applications
- Provides technical subject matter expertise and business process knowledge to project teams analyzing systemic or process issues within assigned areas
- Assists departments/project teams in defining requirements for new systems
- Participates in vendor selection process including demonstrations and functional comparison activities
- Writes design specifications
- Completes system build/development tasks based on design specifications
- Maintains software for assigned systems at supportable levels and communicates available updates and enhancements to end users
- Provides technical support to system end users
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two to three years’ experience with Information technology application development, training, and implementation in a healthcare setting
- Experience in Epic systems and processes strongly preferred
- Certification in Epic application(s) required within four months of hiring
