About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Greets patients and notifies appropriate modality of patient’s arrival
Assists physicians with reports
Burns images to CDs
Pushes images to the Cloud
Assists with incoming telephone calls
Prepares proper documentation for release of imaging and reports
Transmits STAT interpretations
Accurately records appointment notes for all STAT exams
Learns and becomes proficient with the functions of EPIC
Ensures accurate transmission of STAT interpretations
Performs reception duties such as initial patient greeting
Answers telephone
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work area
Cooperates with all hospital personnel and customers
Participates in the training of new personnel
Takes inventory of supplies
Assists patients with directions

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma
English competency
legible handwriting
accurate typing
good telephone skills
ability to multi-task
Familiarity with medical terminology
