Sales Development Representative – Environmental
Rehrig Pacific CompanySales Development Representative supporting Environmental Sales Team at Rehrig Pacific. Identifying and generating new sales opportunities through proactive outreach and collaboration.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and engage prospective customers through outbound calls, emails, and social channels across assigned markets and product lines.
- Create targeted outreach campaigns for specific regions and customer segments.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads using defined criteria and a strong understanding of customer needs.
- Schedule qualified sales appointments for Territory or Account Sales Managers.
- Achieve weekly and monthly lead generation and appointment-setting targets.
- Develop and manage target prospect lists to support faster sales cycles.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all prospect interactions in Salesforce.
- Manage assigned lead pipelines to ensure proper follow-up, progression, or disqualification.
- Partner closely with Marketing to support lead-nurturing efforts and provide feedback on lead quality and messaging effectiveness.
- Use data, feedback, and performance insights to refine outreach efforts and improve conversion rates.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
- Preferred fields: Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related areas.
- Proven ability to prospect, including confidence and creativity in cold calling and entering new markets.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools such as Salesforce.
- Experience using prospecting tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator) preferred.
- Knowledge of environmental or related industry products is a plus.
