About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead or support implementation of electrical components or electronic systems on Rehlko generator platforms, including validation, testing, and postproduction support.
- Develops and executes test specifications and test procedures to validate or verify component or system function.
- Work with cross functional teams to implement electrical and controls systems.
- Troubleshoot failures and work with suppliers to resolve issues.
- Make recommendations for product improvements.
- Develop and implement special electronics systems as needed for testing.
- Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
- Participate in design reviews and design FMEA’s.
- Assist with vendor investigation of root cause analysis for failed components.
- Contribute to lessons learned methodology and continuous process improvement.
- Provides technical guidance and design direction to CAD Analysts.
- Demonstrates teamwork and communicates effectively.
- Develops documents and achieves product specifications for customers, regulatory, and technical requirements.
- Delivery of project work to time cost and quality.
- Work to develop individual goals/objectives to support the department goals.
- Personally demonstrate and drive the Rehlko Core Competencies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Required (ABET Accredited)
- 2+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, electronic systems and/or New product Development NPD or Sustaining Product Development (SPD) experience
- General knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) Standards is a plus
- Knowledge of any of the following a plus: MATLAB, PSPICE, Simulink, OrCAD, C, C++, Python
