Key responsibilities & impact

Develop electronic circuit board layouts for mixed signal, microcontroller-based controllers, and power converters
Participate in electronics hardware design peer reviews
Analyze and resolve vendor component change and obsolescence notifications
Maintain production drawings and data for electronic circuit board assemblies
Work in a cross-functional team environment to analyze and mitigate electronics circuit board assembly production issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited program
4+ years of experience designing circuit boards for industrial controllers that meet FCC, UL, CSA and CE requirements
Excellent abstract reasoning and problem-solving skills
Experience laying out high speed memory buses in controlled impedance layout designs
A working knowledge of current technologies used in circuit board design and manufacturing processes
A working knowledge of the IPC-A-610 standard
Experience in Design for Environment and Design for Manufacturing processes
