Sales Manager, Book Trade & Partnerships – Part-Time
ReguvisSales Manager for trade and partnerships in the publishing industry focusing on book distribution channels. Building relationships with stakeholders to enhance market reach and product marketing.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You are responsible for trade sales across our entire portfolio — from specialist books and journals to e-books, databases, digital archives and workflow solutions.
- You develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers in specialist, general and online book retail, as well as wholesalers, platform partners and procurement service providers; you hold regular meetings and develop joint marketing and growth plans.
- You independently negotiate framework agreements and terms and conditions and conduct contract renewals and development negotiations.
- You oversee the preparation and distribution of the trade preview and coordinate our product communications to the trade.
- You are the main point of contact for our trade partners when data, information or materials are missing and ensure fast resolutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience in sales at a (specialist) publisher, provider of specialist information or within the book trade, with responsibility for trade partners
- Solid understanding of distribution dynamics in the book trade and proven negotiation skills for framework agreements, terms and marketing agreements
- Experience selling digital products and licensed content via trade and platform partners
- Ideally experience working with a sales CRM
- Strong communication skills, reliability and proactive relationship management
