About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a consultant regarding business needs and requirements
Support transformational strategy development and translate strategies into initiatives and business capabilities
Identify business unit issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions
Support strategic projects from inception to execution
Conduct customer and market research, monitor industry and economic trends, and perform competitive analysis
Build and execute technical and non-technical initiatives, execution plans, and growth strategies
Lead business-group communications around changes impacting the business
Own deliverables communicating segment performance for continuous improvement and management reporting
Develop business unit and market research, client profiling and segmentation, performance reporting, and industry/economic overviews
Support annual strategic planning through meeting organization, materials, facilitation, insights, plan co-authorship, and progress reporting
Evaluate processes, procedures, and people to identify continuous improvement opportunities
Contribute to workflow/process redesign and risk and control identification
May supervise the day-to-day work of professional-level associates

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of experience in business analysis, project or change management, or related business unit experience
Ability to evaluate change management impact and risk
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to compliance in a specific line of business
Strong organizational skills
Strong storyboarding, visualization, long-form writing, and editing skills
Ability to pivot between technical and strategic conversations
Strong time management skills
Master's degree or MBA preferred
Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, process optimization, or operational excellence preferred
Experience within corporate banking, commercial banking, treasury management, credit products, capital markets, or other financial services businesses preferred
Proven ability to develop business cases, financial analyses, and executive recommendations preferred
Experience leading process improvement, operating model, automation, AI, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders through executive-level communication and presentations preferred
