About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a consultant regarding business needs and requirements
- Support transformational strategy development and translate strategies into initiatives and business capabilities
- Identify business unit issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions
- Support strategic projects from inception to execution
- Conduct customer and market research, monitor industry and economic trends, and perform competitive analysis
- Build and execute technical and non-technical initiatives, execution plans, and growth strategies
- Lead business-group communications around changes impacting the business
- Own deliverables communicating segment performance for continuous improvement and management reporting
- Develop business unit and market research, client profiling and segmentation, performance reporting, and industry/economic overviews
- Support annual strategic planning through meeting organization, materials, facilitation, insights, plan co-authorship, and progress reporting
- Evaluate processes, procedures, and people to identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Contribute to workflow/process redesign and risk and control identification
- May supervise the day-to-day work of professional-level associates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of experience in business analysis, project or change management, or related business unit experience
- Ability to evaluate change management impact and risk
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to compliance in a specific line of business
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong storyboarding, visualization, long-form writing, and editing skills
- Ability to pivot between technical and strategic conversations
- Strong time management skills
- Master's degree or MBA preferred
- Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, process optimization, or operational excellence preferred
- Experience within corporate banking, commercial banking, treasury management, credit products, capital markets, or other financial services businesses preferred
- Proven ability to develop business cases, financial analyses, and executive recommendations preferred
- Experience leading process improvement, operating model, automation, AI, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders through executive-level communication and presentations preferred
