About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Meet with customers and prospects in person and by phone to determine financial needs
  • Proactively offer appropriate products, services, and guidance to help customers achieve financial goals
  • Achieve branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing guidance on Regions’ solutions
  • Conduct outbound calls from customer and prospect lead lists to expand relationships and acquire new customers
  • Educate and advise customers on Regions’ consumer and business products and services, including loans and deposits
  • Educate customers on mobile, online, ATM, and other digital banking solutions
  • Provide an optimal customer experience, including greeting customers and processing transactions
  • Own and resolve customer issues
  • Refer customers to internal experts when complex financial needs are identified
  • Follow banking processes, procedures, laws, and regulations
  • Complete duties delegated and assigned by the Branch Manager
  • Help ensure sound banking practices and manage, identify, and report operational risks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work Saturdays as needed
  • Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
  • Ability to communicate in person, by phone, and through electronic channels
  • Frequent computer use, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Life Insurance License preferred
  • One year of cash-handling, banking, and/or customer service experience preferred
