About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Meet with customers and prospects in person and by phone to determine financial needs
- Proactively offer appropriate products, services, and guidance to help customers achieve financial goals
- Achieve branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing guidance on Regions’ solutions
- Conduct outbound calls from customer and prospect lead lists to expand relationships and acquire new customers
- Educate and advise customers on Regions’ consumer and business products and services, including loans and deposits
- Educate customers on mobile, online, ATM, and other digital banking solutions
- Provide an optimal customer experience, including greeting customers and processing transactions
- Own and resolve customer issues
- Refer customers to internal experts when complex financial needs are identified
- Follow banking processes, procedures, laws, and regulations
- Complete duties delegated and assigned by the Branch Manager
- Help ensure sound banking practices and manage, identify, and report operational risks
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed
- Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
- Ability to communicate in person, by phone, and through electronic channels
- Frequent computer use, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Life Insurance License preferred
- One year of cash-handling, banking, and/or customer service experience preferred
