About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all aspects of system design, development, deployment, acquisition, and ongoing maintenance for application systems
  • Develop technology solutions that improve internal business efficiency, resolve business problems, and support business opportunities
  • Create and refine operational processes and systems for regulatory and audit compliance
  • Plan, design, develop, and verify lifecycle-balanced system solutions using an interdisciplinary collaborative approach
  • Evaluate customer and operational needs, define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure interface compatibility
  • Support planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements through management processes
  • Partner across Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data to strengthen risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity controls
  • Evaluate risk and control impacts when designing or implementing process, system, product, or service changes
  • Manage at least two Fraud AD Agile teams and provide technical guidance on design, technology standards, and guidelines
  • Work with business stakeholders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Architects to translate business requests into technical requirements
  • Lead intake and prioritization of development work aligned with business and technology goals
  • Own product lifecycle and delivery for enterprise software platforms
  • Provide status reporting on key initiatives, timelines, and team productivity
  • Coach, teach, and mentor teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Six (6) years of relevant experience
  • Experience as a team leader
  • Experience managing teams strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
  • Experience in a technology role in banking or financial services preferred
  • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Architects
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Preferred knowledge of Financial Crime Unit processes, including fraud detection, AML, KYC, and transaction monitoring
  • Experience with .NET Full Stack, including MVC, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and .NET Framework
  • Understanding of WCF and SOAP-based communication
  • Experience with React
  • Solid understanding of Git branching strategies
  • Experience with Harness CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
  • Experience with IBM MQ
  • Experience with Hangfire
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Kafka/Confluent Kafka
  • Experience with metrics and monitoring tools including Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Knowledge of SAFe/Agile methodology
  • Python/PySpark experience is a plus
  • Experience with test automation
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
