About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supports the development and execution of market plans to increase lending in LMI/MMCT communities
  • Conducts monthly performance reviews with Regional Managers and Production Managers
  • Trains loan officers on Down Payment Assistance (DPA) programs, equitable outreach, and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) accuracy
  • Partners with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Community Development Specialists to plan and execute CRA eligible mortgage events
  • Builds and maintains strong community relationships with local nonprofits, housing counseling agencies, and community partners
  • Identifies barriers to access and provides feedback to improve processes and products
  • Supports the activation of CRA and Fair Lending strategies in the field
  • Coaches Regional Managers (RMs) and Production Managers (PMs) to improve LMI/MMCT penetration
  • Supports PMs and RMs by coordinating and assisting with local events and DPA education, helping to facilitate field execution while reinforcing leadership-driven strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Community Development, or a related field
  • Four (4) years of mortgage, CRA, Fair Lending, or community outreach experience
  • Experience working directly with mortgage loan officers
  • Experience in financial education or housing counseling
  • Ability to translate data into actionable field strategies
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • High level of initiative and follow through
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Strong relationship and community engagement skills
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
