About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acts as consultant regarding various business needs and requirements
- Conducts business process current state assessments, identification of gaps, and designs future state processes to evolve or react to continuous industry or internal changes
- Proactively identifies business unit issues, assisting in root cause analysis and identifying solutions that clearly articulate strategic opportunities for continuous improvement
- Supports the full lifecycle of strategic projects from inception to execution, formulating solutions to key business issues and opportunities
- Pursues new opportunities for business innovation and optimization via extensive customer and market research, monitoring industry and economic trends, conducting competitive analysis, and recognizing potential enhancements – performing root cause analysis to recommend, prioritize and facilitate the appropriate corresponding strategy
- Evaluates processes, procedures, and people to identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Builds both technical and non-technical initiatives, advanced execution plans and growth strategies
- Owns key deliverables that communicate segment performance for continuous improvement and management reporting
- Develops qualitative and quantitative business unit and market research, including client profiling and segmentation, performance reporting, industry and economic overviews
- Develops business group communication strategy around changes that impact the business
- Contributes to workflow or process change and redesign, and risk and control identification
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree and five (5) years’ experience in business analysis, project or change management, or other related business unit experience
- Masters degree preferred
- Ability to evaluate change management impact and risk
- Ability to work independently
- Deadline driven
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory environment as it relates to compliance in a specific line of business
- Organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong written, storyboarding, visualization, long-form writing and editing skills; can pivot between technical and strategic conversations
- Time management skills
- Banking experience preferred
