Oversees application development for two or more large departments within the company
Serves as the primary technology contact for senior management in developing technology solutions
Creates and refines operational processes and systems for effective regulatory compliance
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify systems
Evaluates customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements
Supports planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements through management processes
Manages engineering resources and aligns technology initiatives with business goals
Drives the architecture and implementation of risk-related platforms
Oversees the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, deployment, and support
Champions agile practices and ensures timely delivery of high-quality software
Communicates effectively with senior leadership and business partners

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Ten (10) years of relevant experience
Five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience
Experience in Technology role in banking or financial services industry
8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of modern development frameworks, cloud technologies, and data platforms
Familiarity with risk analytics, modeling, and reporting tools
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe) are a plus.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
