About the role

  • Leads large or multiple complex projects with significant scope and impact
  • Partners with business leaders and managers to manage projects and their delivery
  • Shapes organizational efforts translating strategy into results
  • Defines, develops, and manages the overall project schedule
  • Guides teams through project structuring, problem definition, issues identification, and resolution development
  • Identifies, prioritizes, and quantifies project opportunities
  • Engages and leads multi-disciplinary teams to plan and deliver business outcomes
  • Assesses and manages risk throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintains responsibility and accountability for quality and accuracy of all deliverables
  • Mentors other associates in developing business knowledge, analytical skills, and project management skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related degree
  • Eight (8) years of project management related experience
  • Five (5) years of banking or financial services experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (Preferred)
  • Master's degree (Preferred)
  • Management / supervisory experience (Preferred)
  • Ability to create and deliver influential large scale project communications with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
