About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent business stakeholders to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs
  • Partner with sponsors, stakeholders, and Information Technology to define and document business processes, needs, measures, risks and controls
  • Work with management and stakeholders to understand and validate business strategy, vision and customer needs
  • Assist with project-level plans related to schedule, scope and resources
  • Work independently on small to medium complexity efforts or support Senior/Lead staff on larger efforts
  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks
  • Participate in validation and testing of features before end-user acceptance
  • Provide just-in-time story elaboration to designers, business analysts, developers, testers and others
  • Maintain a prioritized backlog of stories and provide business guidance to the execution team
  • Review, accept and prioritize stakeholder feedback and new requirements
  • Review and accept or decline development output against acceptance criteria
  • Manage and track benefits, adoption and operational risks with business process owners
  • Lead intake and prioritization of development work aligned to business and technology goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field and five (5) years of relevant experience in process improvement, project delivery, business/requirements analysis or business operations/product line
  • SAFe Practitioner (SP), SAFe Agilist, or SAFe Product Owner/Manager certification preferred
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Experience in Process Engineering methodologies and Change Management practices
  • Familiarity or working knowledge with multiple technical software delivery methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Proven ability to utilize data and analytics to formulate recommendations, solve business problems, and drive business improvements
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and strong organization and communication skills
  • Knowledge of OFAC, BSA/AML, sanctions compliance, and financial crimes risk management
  • Knowledge of sanctions list management, fuzzy matching algorithms and screening tuning
  • Experience with large-scale screening platform transformations or cloud modernization initiatives
  • Experience with sanctions screening platforms
