About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee application development, modification, and maintenance
Oversee development and installation of new hardware and software
Install and configure systems and software
Test installed software to detect malfunctions
Identify and resolve business systems issues
Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
Develop and implement strategies to improve systems

Maintain full ownership of a process
Ensure compliance with risk management programs, rules, regulations, and cybersecurity practices
Identify and support process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
Five (5) years of experience
Ability to collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals
Ability to conduct system analysis to detect issues with performance
Ability to develop and implement technology solutions
Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization and software debugging
Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong executional capabilities
Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems and integration
Strong experience with .NET Framework development
Hands-on experience building applications using .NET Core
Experience with containerization technologies such as OpenShift or Kubernetes
Proficiency with SQL Server, SSRS reports, SSIS packages, and complex query optimization
Required front-end development experience using modern frameworks; React.js preferred, or similar technologies such as Angular or Vue.js
Must be within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham, Atlanta, or Charlotte
Must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
