About the role
- Prepares daily short-term cash flow forecast to determine inflows and outflows to support the optimization of the Region’s portfolio earnings.
- Collaborate with various key internal and external stakeholders to anticipate material cash inflow and outflows to reduce variances in projections.
- Manage and maintain commercial bank accounts to facilitate wire transfers, compliance, user access, terms of reference and fraud management.
- Provide analysis for monthly, triannual, quarterly and annual reporting for presentation to senior management.
- Manage settlement of trades as it pertains to the Region’s investment portfolio.
- Manage and maintain the Region’s debt portfolio to ensure all principal and interest payments are submitted to CDS.
- Prepare journal entries as they pertain to General Fund, Sinking Fund, Letters of Credit and bank charges activity.
- Prepare and consolidate all journal entries, calculations, and back up documentation to support the year-end audit requirement process.
- Prepare daily dashboard updates on cash flow forecasting, compliance on the investment portfolio and debt related payments by managing and updating the treasury management system.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in economics, commerce, statistics, accounting or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Treasury, banking or related environment
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Keen interest in capital markets and government administration

- Nice to have: MBA, CFA, CPA, CTP, ACCA designations
