• Work alongside the Facility Services Supervisor to lead a dedicated team, ensuring smooth and efficient facilities operations.
• Manage and maintain programs to keep equipment in top shape, preventing costly repairs and ensuring residents' needs are met without disruption.
• Oversee maintenance schedules, conduct inspections, and work closely with staff and external vendors to ensure everything runs seamlessly.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and provide essential staff training in areas like infection control, safety protocols, and life safety.
• Help manage vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality service and the best possible outcomes for the facility.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the team, helping them grow in their roles while ensuring a safe and positive work environment.
• Ensure that maintenance services comply with all required legislation and contribute to risk management to keep the home a safe, healthy space for residents and staff alike.
