Data Privacy Auditor

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Planning and conducting data protection/privacy audits in coordination with Group Data Protection
- Identifying data protection/privacy gaps
- Preparing audit reports
- Monitoring remediation measures and conducting follow-up audits
- Regular reporting to Group Data Protection, especially regarding existing risks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Economics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Law, or an equivalent qualification
- Ideally experience as an auditor
- Ideally certification as a data protection expert and/or auditor (e.g., GDDCert, BvD, TÜV, CISA/ISACA)
- Basic knowledge of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)
- Structured approach with goal- and results-orientation
- Good English skills in addition to German
- Reliability and a hands-on mentality
- Willingness to travel; approx. 50% of working time related to audit activities
