About the role
- Develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
- Collaborate with DevOps, frontend and QA teams
- Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Several years of professional experience with Kotlin
- Strong experience with Spring Boot
- Fluent English
- Good German skills are preferred and considered a strong advantage
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Additional skills that would be a strong advantage:
- Experience with Java
- Knowledge of cloud and container technologies such as Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, ideally ReactJS
