About the role

  • Maintain, enhance, and refactor existing backend systems
  • Develop and support applications using Java 21/25 LTS
  • Work within an agile development environment alongside cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in Java (preferably Java 21/25 LTS)
  • Experience working with or maintaining backend architectures
  • Solid understanding of software design, clean code principles, and testing practices
  • Very good German language skills (B2 or higher) and good English skills
  • Independent, solution-oriented, and structured working style
  • Ability to collaborate in distributed and multicultural teams
  • Additional skills that will give you a strong advantage: experience with NetBeans RCP, familiarity with Bitbucket, working experience with Linux
