About the role
- Conduct in-field verifications by performing on-site assessments through travel to farms and ranches
- Coordinate data collection and close gaps by working with producers and partners
- Draft and finalize verification reports and present results to farmers
- Support onboarding and training of apprentices and new verifiers
- Identify issues early and escalate anomalies to the Lead Verifier
Requirements
- 3+ years in auditing, verification, agronomy, conservation, supply chain assurance, or adjacent field-based assessment roles
- Field credibility across cropping systems and/or livestock systems
- Ability to assess practices, documentation, and outcomes in real-world settings
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in tools such as Salesforce, Google Drive, and Microsoft Suite
- Ability to explain technical or complex concepts simply, clearly, and with empathy
