About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess and develop suppliers by evaluating capability, capacity, risk, and overall performance to meet Regal Rexnord standards
  • Support the deployment and compliance of standardized quality processes, policies, and procedures
  • Provide influential leadership through mentoring and skill development for both suppliers and internal teams
  • Conduct supplier audits, analyze results, and implement Supplier Development Plans and corrective actions
  • Lead APQP, PPAP, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement efforts to reduce variation and improve process control
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers on technical quality issues, cost-reduction initiatives, and supply chain optimization
  • Drive improvements in product and process quality using metrics, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Monitor, maintain, and report supplier performance metrics across global manufacturing facilities
  • Support resolution of systemic supplier quality issues to improve customer satisfaction
  • Implement and promote standardized quality best practices across the supply base
  • Train suppliers and internal teams in advanced quality tools and problem-solving methodologies
  • Use customer and internal feedback to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering with 7+ years of Supplier Quality and/or Quality Assurance experience
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes with expertise in at least two areas (e.g., castings, forgings, machining, plastics, coatings, heat treatment, metallurgy)
  • Proficient in quality tools and methodologies: Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, PFD, FMEA, PCP, MSA, SPC
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and statistical methods
  • Strong Computer Literacy with MS Office products
  • Strong analytical and project management abilities
  • Experience with formal supplier assessments, ISO 9001, TS16949, AIAG, CQI and AS 9100 based assessments and various supplier audits
  • Background in metrology, inspection methods, and new product development
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to work effectively across all organizational levels and within matrix teams, including supplier networks
  • Proven leadership experience with change management and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
