About the role
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders such as OEMs, engineering firms, and operators in the Data Center space
- Support the team in promoting RRX products and solutions
- Support basic customer questions regarding product applications (training provided)
- Help prepare sizing information, product recommendations, or technical materials under guidance from Product Management or Application Engineering
- Work with Account Managers and the Product team to ensure opportunities are logged, updated, and moving through the sales process
- Assist in coordinating communication between customers and internal technical teams
- Help create simple sales tools, presentations, or value messaging focused on customer needs such as energy efficiency, system reliability, and sustainability
- Support basic competitive research and help summarize findings for the team
- Provide responsive, helpful support to internal and external customers
- Assist in follow-up communication to ensure positive customer interactions
- Help gather and summarize competitor information, industry trends, voice of customer analysis, and gaps in the market to support the development of new product initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or a related field
- 0–2 years of commercial, engineering, or customer-facing experience (internships welcome)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Customer-focused mindset with willingness to learn technical concepts
- Basic analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, electric motors, or airflow concepts (not required; training provided)
- Experience with CRM systems or data tools (e.g., Power BI)
- 3D CAD exposure a plus but not required
- High level of initiative and desire to learn product management or technical sales
