About the role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within territory
- Understand market trends and customer needs to effectively position products
- Act as a trusted advisor to solve problems and ensure customer satisfaction
- Present and explain product features and benefits to customers
- Engage with both national and local channel partners
- Collaborate with inside sales and other departments to develop winning strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- 0–5 years of sales or customer-facing experience (internship experience welcome)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives
- A working understanding of industry standards and regulations, including UL, IEEE, NEC, and IEC
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- In-depth knowledge of customer and market dynamics
- Exceptional ability to prospect, qualify, and close new customers
- Willingness to travel as required
- This individual must live in Texas (preference to Austin, Dallas, or Houston)
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
