About the role
- Conduct thorough inventories of Regal Rexnord Products at customer locations, ensuring accurate documentation and attention to detail.
- Maintain a safe working environment during all survey activities, adhering to Regal Rexnord and site company safety protocols and regulations.
- Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, self-sufficiency, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage workflow and maintain productivity.
- Take on additional responsibilities and leadership duties as needed to maintain continuity and efficiency in survey operations.
- Coordinate with team members to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and address any challenges or issues that arise while on site.
- Assist in developing and updating sales promotion documentation to reflect process changes/improvements and encourage MRO business for worn products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance survey speed, efficiency, and accuracy within the team.
- Assist in quoting projects and evaluating the strategic value of surveys.
- Collaborate with sales representatives, distributors, and end users to gather information and assess the scope and requirements of potential survey projects.
- Evaluate the strategic significance of survey opportunities based on factors such as market potential, customer relationships, and alignment with company goals and priorities.
- Adhere to defined processes outlined in standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining consistency and quality in survey activities.
Requirements
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency, minimal supervision required
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field
- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable with problem solving basic mechanical issues
- Efficient with Microsoft Business Software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to customers at all levels within the organization
- Commercial affinity and interest
- Minimum of 1 year of comparable experience, including co-op assignments
- Quality-minded, flexible and practical approach to situations
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Has the ability to identify the relationships of component activities, events, patterns or processes within a system
- Travel up to 75% of the time (typically ~ 50%) in the contiguous United States.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not mandatory
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
