About the role
- Assists in the development and implementation of comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies for a single large account or for several smaller accounts.
- Drives a cross-regional sales team and internal employees to penetrate key accounts and aggressively expand relationships with national distributor accounts.
- Gathers detailed information about accounts, identifies decision-makers, understands strategic business challenges and priorities, significant accounts which may span multiple Regal businesses or geographies and leads team in analyzing information and prioritizing opportunities critical to success.
- Works daily with CRM to input and analyze activities across national accounts.
- Utilizes CRM dashboards on a daily basis to help communicate progress against established objectives.
- Promotes and helps lead CRM and Documented Cost Savings and uses processes to communicate Regal value propositions to national accounts.
- Ensures professional sales coordination and account planning and resolves any account ownership issues as it pertains to national accounts.
- Monitors industry trends and changing regulations to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Adhere to all company policies, values, procedures and business ethics codes.
- Conduct yourself in accordance with corporate guidelines, policies and standards of professionalism and set examples in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
- Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Technical, Business or Marketing preferred
- 5+ years experience preferred; sales experience in Power Transmission & Bearings Industry
- Candidate must live in or around Kansas City, Missouri
- Mechanical aptitude
- Competent in MS Office applications / CRM Management / Business application software
