Position Summary The Supply Planning Manager drives supply planning and inventory strategy for Regal Rexnord’s North America Couplings Division within the IPS segment. This role, without direct reports, leads supply plan development to meet demand, ensures capacity and inventory targets are met, and sets performance metrics. The role also uses business technologies to automate planning, scheduling, and inventory solutions for best practices. Responsibilities Accountable to collaborate with demand planners, site operations, business unit leadership team, and corporate SIOP team to develop supply plans spanning 18-month rolling time period that balance Supply/Demand. Translates output of Demand Plan into Supply Plan, including rough-cut Units demand for long-range planning and SKU-based supply plan for short-range Materials Planning. Supports regional inventory forecast process by site and material type across multiple time horizons. Helps root cause gaps and build action funnel to support inventory targets. Supports Inventory Segmentation process and creates associated materials planning strategies such as ABC, XYZ analysis and make-to-order/buy-to-order to optimize inventory. Ensures short and long-term plans align with regional and business-level strategies for working capital and on time delivery. Develop and/or deploy standard work & KPI’s related to SIOP process and supply management. Monitor performance to plan and support problem solving as required. Responsible to measure & report Inventory Health, Supply Plan accuracy, Attainment to Plan, and Capacity Utilization. Partner cross-functionally to address variances and implement action plans to improve. Partners with sites to ensure necessary production output and inventory levels to support sales and service level targets. Helps ensure supply/production plans are supported with defined labor plans and machine capacity – addressing key points of constraints. Help identify and implement ERP settings and data requirements to support SIOP supply plan. Support sites in identifying gaps, plan to correct, and standard work to maintain. Owner of SIOP Supply Meeting. Escalates constraints to meet supply plan, identifies potential solutions, and drives resolution and/or documentation of risk. Ensures final consensus Supply Plan integrated into site plan. Collaborate with sites to communicate supply plan risk and gaps and determine course of action to bridge gaps and establish recovery. Assessing sources of alternative supply or determining allocation priorities. Partner with Divisional Supply Chain leader to communicate Supply Plans to key External Suppliers and confirming Supplier Capacity supports plan. Engage in stocking agreement plans as necessary. Actively monitor Supplier OTD metrics and initiate root cause / countermeasures with site Materials and Sourcing as necessary. Act as business knowledge lead on Domo supplier management tool. Supports root cause analysis of past due demand across key focus sites to determine root cause and ensure temporary and permanent resolution in place to prevent future service level disruptions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, accounting, finance or related field. Previous experience with SAP, Oracle or equivalent ERP. Minimum of 7 years previous supply chain experience with focus on inventory management in an engineer-to-order or high-mix/low volume manufacturing industry, including proven experience leading and influencing. Direct experience in Supply Planning, including translating demand forecast into units/SKUs. Demonstrated ability to define and execute a SIOP-related project plan. Experience with SIOP implementation a plus. Experience with deep financial analytics using large data sets and reporting skills. Experience with Business Intelligence and/or Tableau. Strong proven skillset with Excel, including tools such as Microsoft Project, Office, SharePoint, ERP (SAP/Oracle), Planning Tools (Demantra), and Analytical Dashboards (Power BI) Knowledge of lean tools and mindset to drive for continuous improvement. Travel up to 25% Domestically. International may be necessary.
