About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct deep dive analysis and develop internal reports and dashboards to inform key product and business decisions
- Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers and AI Product Specialists to provide data-driven insights that inform how AI agents are built, tuned, and evaluated for individual customers
- Inform how key metrics should be calculated and presented in the Regal app
- Use AI coding agents to accelerate analysis and data discovery
- Create and maintain documentation of business metrics and the data model
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years experience as an analytics engineer, data analyst or management consultant
- Fluent writing SQL and using dbt
- Experience with any modern warehouse; ClickHouse/Snowflake are preferred
- Comfortable working with Looker or a comparable dashboarding tool
- Passionate about data access and empowering others to make decisions with data
- Excited to work alongside AI tools - not just using them, but improving their outputs by rigorously reviewing, refining, and iterating on AI-generated code and analyses
- Enthusiastic about the fast-paced work environment of an early-stage startup
- Excellent communication skills and ability to tell a story with data
