About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs in Go that power web and mobile clients
Build and evolve high-traffic, user-facing pages ensuring fast load times, excellent usability, and SEO best practices
Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver new features end-to-end
Improve system performance, monitoring, and developer experience across the stack
Drive technical design, code quality, and architectural improvements through RFCs and reviews
Implement A/B tests and rollout strategies for new features
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all user-facing APIs and systems
Review code, mentor teammates, and contribute to technical interviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience designing and implementing full stack applications
Strong experience with backend programming languages (Go preferred)
Solid frontend experience with JavaScript, modern HTML/CSS, and utility-first CSS frameworks such as Tailwind
Solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and distributed systems
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and event-driven architectures (e.g., gRPC)
Clean, modular, and maintainable code writing skills
Ability to balance technical debt and business priorities in fast-paced environments
Independent, goal-oriented, and collaborative with cross-functional teams
Excellent English skills and located in one of the European time zones
Formal education in Computer Science or related field
