As a Business Development Manager responsible to launch new categories, you will act as a founder, being the face of Refurbed to key internal and external stakeholders, in charge of building long term partnerships with top brands and distributors across different categories and markets. This role will have high visibility in the company, working closely with Refurbed’s leadership team and fast career growth path.
You will be part of an international and very dynamic team that works very hands-on with flat hierarchies and direct c-level engagement to lead strategic initiatives.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic players in new categories.
Lead the full sales cycle independently—from initial outreach and building the business case to negotiating contracts and closing deals to later onboard and manage partners.
Act as problem-solver for prospects’ needs and working with internal stakeholders to formulate solutions for them being the partner’s advocate to drive innovation.
Guide new partners through marketplace processes to ensure smooth onboarding, working closely with internal teams to support seamless implementation.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network and establish new partnerships.

Requirements
You hold an university degree, with 3+ years of experience in sales
You command German and English at professional level
Proven track record of successfully closing deals at c-level and leading complex projects with a hands-on mentality with the entrepreneurial mindset of a founder
You are passionate to work with people and effectively communicate, influence and persuade with different levels of stakeholders
You are resilient, learning from setbacks without losing momentum, with a structured analytical approach to problem-solving
Experience with marketplace and/or retail businesses is a plus
