About the role
- take ownership of the mobile experience for Trade-in journeys
- design and implement scalable, high-quality features
- collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts
- monitor crash reporting, performance, and other operational metrics
- ensure code has clear boundaries between UI, state management, and integrations
- mentor colleagues through pairing and code reviews
- document solutions and decisions
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in React Native / Expo
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, React Native, and modern mobile architecture patterns
- Experience designing and implementing large features and fixing complex bugs
- Proven experience leading the development of complex features
- Comfortable owning operations and monitoring
- Familiar with most parts of a modern product stack
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
- Able to communicate clearly in English
