About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Planning Functional Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting end-to-end planning processes across demand, supply, production, and capacity planning.
Acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring that planning requirements are correctly translated into SAP-based solutions.
Responsible for designing, improving and supporting critical planning functionality and processes such as demand planning and forecasting, supply planning and inventory planning, production planning and scheduling, capacity planning (rough-cut and detailed) and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP / IBP).
Lead end-to-end SAP project initiatives, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and hyper-care.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and third-party vendors to align scope, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery.
Configure and support SAP solutions aligned with global template standards, ensuring system and process integrity.
Manage data migration activities, including master data and open transactional data, in compliance with MDM and archival requirements.
Develop and execute testing, training, and change management activities to ensure successful adoption and continuity of business processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
Five (5) plus years of experience integrating SAP systems.
Three (3) plus years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
Experience with S4 and/or professional certification.
Experience participating in change management for an organization preferred.
Exposure to the business functions of a manufacturing enterprise from a supply chain perspective preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and Project.
Experience designing test scripts within automated testing tools (SAP Quality Center) preferred.
Experience as a power user of SAP’s BDC tools such as Datasphere, SAC, BW or similar.
