About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Planning Functional Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting end-to-end planning processes across demand, supply, production, and capacity planning.
  • Acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring that planning requirements are correctly translated into SAP-based solutions.
  • Responsible for designing, improving and supporting critical planning functionality and processes such as demand planning and forecasting, supply planning and inventory planning, production planning and scheduling, capacity planning (rough-cut and detailed) and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP / IBP).
  • Lead end-to-end SAP project initiatives, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and hyper-care.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and third-party vendors to align scope, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Configure and support SAP solutions aligned with global template standards, ensuring system and process integrity.
  • Manage data migration activities, including master data and open transactional data, in compliance with MDM and archival requirements.
  • Develop and execute testing, training, and change management activities to ensure successful adoption and continuity of business processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Five (5) plus years of experience integrating SAP systems.
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with S4 and/or professional certification.
  • Experience participating in change management for an organization preferred.
  • Exposure to the business functions of a manufacturing enterprise from a supply chain perspective preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and Project.
  • Experience designing test scripts within automated testing tools (SAP Quality Center) preferred.
  • Experience as a power user of SAP’s BDC tools such as Datasphere, SAC, BW or similar.
