About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support patients throughout the Reesi process, from the initial conversation through referral to a suitable study center and beyond
Serve as a dedicated point of contact for patients
Conduct personal phone conversations with cancer patients seeking suitable clinical trials
Systematically collect relevant information about patients’ conditions and previous treatments using structured medical conversation guides
Answer questions about the process and clearly explain the next steps
Support referrals to suitable study centers and coordinate the necessary steps
Keep track of follow-ups
Carefully document conversation details in the system
Support basic operational and quality assurance tasks related to patient support
Further develop FAQs, conversation guides, and processes based on real patient experiences
Depending on experience and interests, take responsibility for individual topics and small projects within Patient Operations
Do not provide medical advice or make treatment decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous medical experience is required
Experience as a Study Nurse, Medical Assistant (MFA), Clinical Trial Assistant, healthcare professional, or a comparable medical qualification or professional background
Ability to confidently understand and systematically record medical information
Empathetic and compassionate communication with cancer patients, including during difficult or emotional conversations
Willingness to take responsibility and reliably follow tasks through to completion
Careful documentation and a structured approach to work
Fluency in German
Experience in oncology is a plus, but not required
Experience with clinical trials is a plus, but not required
Current or previous experience as a Study Nurse or Clinical Trial Assistant is a plus, but not required
