About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Topic: Conceptualizing a modern works agreement based on an empirical benchmarking and employee survey
  • Department: Human Resources / Personnel Management
  • As part of your bachelor's thesis, you will support us in modernizing our compensation and posting/assignment regulations
  • Analysis of the existing Federal Assembly Collective Agreement (BMTV) and the posting guideline with regard to structure, content, strengths and weaknesses
  • Research and benchmarking of market-standard compensation and posting/assignment models for assembly and service employees
  • Design and execution of an employee survey within the target group
  • Preparation of the results in the form of presentations and as a decision-making basis for management
  • Development of a conceptual proposal for a new, modern works agreement to replace the BMTV and related works agreements and internal regulations
  • You will be professionally supervised by an experienced HR team throughout the entire project.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Enrolled in a degree program in Economics, Business Psychology, Law, Business Law, Human Resource Management, or a comparable field of study
  • Interest in labor law, collective bargaining law, works constitution law and modern compensation design
  • Basic knowledge of empirical methods (particularly questionnaire design and basic statistics) is desirable
  • Analytical and structured working style, high reliability and attention to detail
  • Enjoy working with data and preparing complex information for different audiences (management, HR, works council, employees)
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Very good German language skills and good English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident user of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
