About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take full ownership of assigned accounting areas, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including complex and non-routine transactions.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Execute and help drive the month-end close process in a fast-paced environment.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, identifying errors, inconsistencies, or unusual trends and ensuring corrections are made
  • Apply capitalization policies, including fixed asset tracking and proper expense vs. capitalization treatment
  • Support or lead ERP system implementations, enhancements, and NetSuite optimization
  • Maintain and improve accounting workflows to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls
  • Ensure financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards
  • Partner with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation, ensuring audit readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, including fixed assets and reserves
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP systems)
  • Experience with system implementations or ERP enhancements
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, investigate root causes, and implement solutions
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
