About the role
- Build and nurture relationships with veterans through social media, direct messaging, and community platforms.
- Monitor and manage online reviews across multiple platforms, responding promptly and professionally to maintain a positive brand reputation.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance brand sentiment and trust within the veteran community.
- Act as a primary point of contact for community inquiries, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
- Own and manage the full lifecycle of veteran-facing events—from concept and planning to promotion, execution, and post-event analysis.
- Develop event strategies that align with overall marketing and business goals, ensuring events foster community engagement and deliver ROI.
- Oversee event logistics, vendor relationships, and on-site operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Create and manage the event calendar, integrating social media, influencer partnerships, and promotional campaigns to maximize reach and impact.
- Track and analyze event performance, community engagement metrics, and reputation trends.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data to improve future initiatives.
- Report on KPIs such as event attendance, engagement rates, review scores, and overall brand sentiment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
- Ability to travel 25–50% of the time.
- Proven experience in event planning, community engagement, and reputation management.
- Strong understanding of veteran experiences and ability to communicate authentically with this audience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing engagement metrics and event ROI.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Creativity and ability to innovate in community-building and event experiences.
