About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- This role supports Western U.S. areas and works the following hours to support west coast business: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PT
- The Inside Sales (Business Rep) is responsible for owning and growing territory and relationships within assigned subsidiaries and locations of regional accounts
- Works in close partnership with Regional Sales Managers to execute strategic account plans, drive expansion opportunities, and maintain alignment across the regional hierarchy
- Accountable for managing the sales pipeline within its territory, ensuring opportunities progress through each stage of the sales cycle, from initial engagement to close and ongoing account management
- Leverages account-based strategies to deepen penetration into new subsidiaries and locations while strengthening and expanding existing relationships
- Manage and expand a portfolio of all subsidiary accounts within strategic regional customers in the assigned territory, ensuring alignment with overall regional strategy and driving expansion opportunities
- Drive growth by proactively sourcing and securing new business opportunities while strategically maintaining and expanding relationships with existing accounts throughout the full sales cycle
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to align subsidiary-level plans with overall regional strategy
- Conduct research and leverage account insights to uncover growth potential and inform strategic planning
- Implement targeted account-based strategies to deepen penetration into new subsidiaries and locations while strengthening and expanding existing relationships
- Manage multi-threaded conversations across health and safety, procurement, operations, and executive leadership to accelerate deal progression
- Provide market intelligence and account-specific insights to inform regional account planning
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Product teams to deliver tailored solutions for regional customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling to small business accounts
- Experience using a CRM, such as Salesforce is preferred
- Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to apply account-based strategies to drive growth
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to engage multiple stakeholders across complex organizations
- Proven ability to navigate organizational hierarchies and buying committees to uncover and develop new opportunities
- Skilled in building and maintaining customer relationships through proactive engagement and effective problem resolution
- Consultative selling focused on identifying needs, delivering tailored solutions, and influencing decision-makers
- Collaborative approach with the ability to align internal teams and enterprise customers toward shared objectives
