About the role

  • Overall responsibility for the site
  • Strategic management of the entire 400,000 m² outdoor site
  • Optimization of storage areas, traffic routes and site layout
  • Ensuring uninterrupted, efficient material flow
  • Planning and organization of all truck loading operations (daily + seasonal peaks)
  • Minimizing waiting times and ensuring correct shipments
  • Management of inbound goods, returns and inventory processes
  • Leadership of production-related departments: Drum, Bulk Packaging, Abzak (sack filling) and Finishing
  • Planning, quality assurance and optimal coordination with logistics
  • Ensuring efficient material flow between production and loading
  • Management of caretaker and cleaning services
  • Organization of maintenance, repair work and site upkeep
  • Team and personnel responsibility
  • Leadership of multiple team leaders and large logistics teams
  • Shift planning, coaching and development of employees
  • Compliance with all safety standards on site
  • Organization of training sessions and certifications
  • KPI reporting for logistics and production
  • Initiation and implementation of improvement and digitization projects

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training (e.g., Specialist in Warehouse Logistics, Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk) or a relevant degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration — alternatively a comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience.
  • Several years of experience in logistics, site or production processes — preferably in a comparable industry, though experience from related sectors is welcome.
  • Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (SAP advantageous) and confident use of Excel to analyze data and manage processes.
  • Basic technical understanding
  • Strong leadership skills: you can lead, motivate and develop teams — irrespective of hierarchy or background.
  • Confident presence in multicultural teams: you build trust, create clarity and foster collaboration within an international team of warehouse, logistics and production staff.
  • Strong communication skills: you can explain priorities, justify decisions transparently and gain acceptance even in stressful situations.
  • Organizational talent & overview: you keep track of overall logistics, site processes and personnel resources — even when things get busy.
  • Hands-on mentality: you are present on site, approachable for the teams and work in a solution-oriented manner.
  • Willingness for personal development: even if you do not yet meet every requirement — we will support you step by step.
