About the role

  • Responsible for the planning and performance monitoring of assigned projects
  • Provide guidance to operational managers through the implementation of project controls processes, procedures, and contracts
  • Track performance daily, weekly, and monthly, incorporating quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Ensure business objectives of Redpath USA Corporation are achieved by developing, implementing, and maintaining project baselines and execution plans
  • Prepare and finalize project close-out reports
  • Ensure that Management of Change process is being maintained and integrated with company policies, procedures, contracts, and financial systems
  • Report on project key performance indicators daily, weekly, and monthly

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in a related scientific, business or engineering field
  • Preferred concentration in (business or engineering) in quantity surveying, cost estimating or mining
  • 5 + years of field and/or office-based project accounting, estimating or controls experience related to underground construction projects or operational mining environment
  • Good understanding of general business interfaces and/or processes
  • Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Office, scheduling Software (MS Projects or Primavera) and measurement and estimating software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to facilitate team commitment
  • Ability to pass background clearance check, drug screening and physical
  • Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • High level of attention to detail, neatness and accuracy
