About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help qualify and close opportunities with customers and partners
Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations
Work alongside the sales team to introduce Redpanda to potential customers
Lead product and solution briefings
Build proof-of-concepts (POCs)
Run live product demos
Prototype Redpanda integrations
Partner with product management, engineering, and support teams to solve customer challenges and improve customer experience
Identify and address customers' key technical objections
Develop strategies to address blockers to adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-8+ years of experience leading presentations, collecting requirements, developing solution architectures, and teaching prospective users or project teams how to use similar software
Comfortable developing and prototyping solutions in Java, Python, Go, and Javascript
Strong understanding of modern infrastructure and streaming technologies; Kafka ecosystem preferred
Experience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding
Comfortable with Linux and Kubernetes
Proficient with one or more cloud providers: AWS, GCP, and Azure
Ability to build relationships with partners, customers, and open-source users
Flexibility to travel to meet customers, attend events or conferences
Current base in the United Kingdom, as indicated by the required application question
