About the role
- Serve as the Director of Growth for Combatant Commands and Service Components.
- Lead a cross‑functional growth campaign centered on engineering services for the National Security business unit.
- Responsible for the full go‑to‑market lifecycle—marketing, business development, capture, solution development, proposal development, project transition, and client success.
- Drive cross‑sell into adjacent business units.
- Build trusted executive relationships, shape differentiated solutions, win strategic programs, and ensure flawless transition to delivery with measurable mission impact.
- Identify, develop, and lead pursuit of digital transformation requirements at Combatant Commands and Service Components.
- Help manage ongoing contracting in these areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience with at least 3 years in federal sales in the National Security space (Defense, the Military Services, the Intelligence Community, Homeland Security, or Law Enforcement agencies), to include proposal development, preparation, analysis, writing, and reviews.
- Experience securing large complex programs for federal customers.
- Demonstrated success as both an individual contributor and leader on government proposal efforts.
- Proven ability to drive key client communication and expectations, both internally and externally.
- Experience engaging clients and developing relationships at the highest levels of the federal government.
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand business functionality.
- Ability to foster positive business relationships.
- Experience working with office productivity software, such as Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and file sharing applications.
- Able to work under pressure of deadlines.
- Able to work outside of regular business hours and travel.
