Commercial/SLED Sales Team Lead
Red RiverCommercial/SLED Sales Leader overseeing and driving the performance of the sales team. Responsible for achieving revenue targets and developing effective sales strategies to grow the business.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed targets
- Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance expectations
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth
- Manage key accounts and support the team in closing high-value deals
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on campaigns and offerings
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members
- Ensure consistent use of CRM tools
- Actively engaged and monitoring of pipeline development, opportunity management/forecasting and demand generation
- Proactively monitor and maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts.
- Works closely with sales management peers to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- Assists in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
- Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement to drive sales and revenue growth and exceed customer satisfaction expectations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting quotas
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience using CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Ability to cultivate C-level relationships and understand underlying business drivers
- Ability to capture large multi-year IT annuity contracts
- Familiar with existing industry CRM applications
- Familiar with OEM business processes negotiating discount structures
- Ability to demonstrate strong presentation skills and lead customer facing meetings
