About the role

  • Lead the team that focus on the Microsoft Technology Stack (Office 365, Azure, EMS, Intune, SharePoint, ctc.) and AWS platforms and solutions
  • Primary focuses on engineer mentoring, technical growth, and development of the practice teams and their leader
  • Work closely with the sales organization to ensure accurate scoping and proper cost modeling
  • Work closely with project management organization to improve delivery processes
  • Work with managed services when transitioning new or changed environments to be managed
  • Manage staff to ensure they are meeting individual/group goals
  • Lead project teams toward identified outcomes
  • Participate and align cloud team engineers in the creation of new service offerings, working across divisional organizations to maximize efficiencies and success
  • Work with leaders across the Professional Services team to improve processes and efficiencies around resource management and project efficiencies
  • Continually improve documentation, from Statement of Work refinement to client-facing deliverables
  • Build an environment of trust, high performance and engagement by establishing clear goals and a commitment to feedback, development and recognition
  • Assist in projects when necessary, including preparation of large project launches, project issue escalations, and resource constraints

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field
  • Experience leading a team of engineers
  • Experience delivering large Microsoft and Cloud projects
  • In depth knowledge of the Microsoft Platforms (Office 365, Azure, EMS, Intune, etc.)
  • In depth knowledge of the public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or other major vendors of public cloud
  • Experience as part of a Systems Integrator (or similar) company within the past 5 years (preferred)
  • Experience leading a technical team (preferred)
  • Creative person with the ability to design innovative solutions
  • Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Willing to travel up to 25%
